The Rapture of the Church Part I
Pastor Steve Atwood
Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together,
they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the
kingdom to
Act 1:7 And he said unto them,
It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put
in his own power.
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive
power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses
unto me both in
Act 1:9 And when he had
spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received
him out of their sight.
Act 1:10 And while they
looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up,
behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye
men of
Luk 24:45
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the
scriptures,
Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore,
and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of
refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not
ignorant of this one thing, that one day is
with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not
slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering
to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the
Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth
also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that
all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of
persons ought ye to be in all
holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and
hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire
shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we,
according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Act 1:10 And while they
looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up,
behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye
men of
2Pe 3:14 Wherefore, beloved,
seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in
peace, without spot, and blameless.
2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul
also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
Rom 16:25 Now to him that is
of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and
the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery,
which was kept secret since the world began,
Eph 3:2 If ye have heard of
the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
Eph 3:3 How that by
revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
Eph 3:4 Whereby, when ye
read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
1Pe 1:9 Receiving the end of
your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1Pe 1:10 Of which salvation the
prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
1Pe 1:11 Searching what, or
what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it
testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should
follow.
Mat 19:27 Then answered Peter
and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall
we have therefore?
Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them,
Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when
the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon
twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul
also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
Act 2:44 And all that
believed were together, and had all things common;
Act 2:45 And sold their
possessions and goods, and parted them to all men,
as every man had need.
Act 4:34 Neither was there
any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses
sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
Act 4:35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution
was made unto every man according as he had need.
Rom 15:25 But now I go unto
Jerusalem to minister unto the saints.
Rom 15:26 For it hath pleased
them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints
which are at Jerusalem.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not
slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering
to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance.
2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul
also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things;
in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned
and unstable wrest, as they do also the
other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out,
and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the
buildings of the temple.
Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto
them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be
left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon
the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us,
when shall these things be? and what shall be
the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered
and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mat 24:5 For many shall come
in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of
wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not
troubled: for all these things must come
to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation shall
rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines,
and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they
deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all
nations for my name's sake.
Mat 24:10 And then shall many
be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false
prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Mat 24:13 But he that shall endure
unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of
the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come.
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore
shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand
in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him
understand:)
Mat 24:29 Immediately after
the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not
give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the
heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall
appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of
the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of
heaven with power and great glory.
Isa 13:9
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce
anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out
of it.
Isa 13:10
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their
light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not
cause her light to shine.
Isa 13:11
And I will punish the world for their
evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the
haughtiness of the terrible.
Joe 2:30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and
fire, and pillars of smoke.
Joe 2:31 The sun shall be
turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible
day of the LORD come.
Joe 2:32 And it shall come to
pass, that whosoever shall call on the
name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall
be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
Joe 3:1 For, behold, in
those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah
and Jerusalem,
Joe 3:2 I will also gather
all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat,
and will plead with them there for my people and for
my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my
land.
Joe 3:15 The sun and the moon
shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
Act 2:14 But Peter, standing
up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye
that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
Act 2:15 For these are not
drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but
the third hour of the day.
Act 2:16 But this is that
which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore,
and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of
refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
Zec 12:10
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon
me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his
only son, and shall be in bitterness for
him, as one that is in bitterness for his
firstborn.
Zec 12:11
In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the
mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
Zec 14:4
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of
Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half
of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec 14:5
And ye shall flee to the valley
of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the
earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and
the LORD my God shall come, and all the
saints with thee.
1Co 15:50 Now this I say,
brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth
corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the
dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Th 4:13 But I would not have
you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow
not, even as others which have no hope.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe
that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God
bring with him.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto
you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them
which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and
with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are
alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we
ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort
one another with these words.
1Th 1:10 And to wait for his
Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even
Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1Th 4:17 Then we which are
alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we
ever be with the Lord.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel
shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion
the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Phi 3:21 Who shall change our
vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to
the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send
his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his
elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of
the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come.
Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye
men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is
taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him
go into heaven.
1Th 4:17 Then we which are
alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we
ever be with the Lord.
Mat 24:40 Then shall two be in
the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you
with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I,
whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost,
and with fire:
Mat 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly
purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the
chaff with unquenchable fire.
1Co 3:13 Every man's work
shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be
revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
2Th 2:10 And with all
deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received
not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause
God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might
be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
