Faithful Men
Pastor Steve Atwood
1Co 11:1 Be ye followers of
me, even as I also am of Christ.
1Co 11:2 Now I praise you,
brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I
delivered them to you.
1Co 11:3 But I would have you
know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the
head of Christ is God.
Gen 3:14
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast
done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every
beast of the
field; upon thy belly
shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of
thy life:
Gen 3:15 And I will put
enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall
bruise thy head,
and thou shalt
bruise his heel.
Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he
said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou
shalt bring forth
children; and
thy desire shall be to thy husband, and
he shall rule over thee.
Gen 3:17 And unto Adam he
said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of
the tree, of
which I
commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou
eat of it all
the days of thy
life;
Gen 3:18 Thorns also and
thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the
field;
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy
face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast
thou taken: for dust
thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he
said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou
shalt bring forth
children; and
thy desire shall be to thy husband, and
he shall rule over thee.
1Co 11:3 But I would have you
know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the
head of Christ is God.
Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he
said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou
shalt bring forth
children; and
thy desire shall be to thy husband, and
he shall rule over thee.
1Ti 5:14 I will therefore
that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none
occasion to the adversary
to speak
reproachfully.
1Ti 5:8 But if any provide
not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the
faith, and is worse
than an infidel.
1Ti 5:9 Let not a widow be
taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one
man,
1Ti 5:10 Well reported of for
good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if
she have washed
the saints'
feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every
good work.
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of thy
face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast
thou taken: for dust
thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
1Ti 5:8 But if any provide
not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the
faith, and is worse
than an
infidel.
2Th 3:6 Now we command you,
brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from
every
brother that
walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
2Th 3:7 For yourselves know
how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
2Th 3:8 Neither did we eat
any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day,
that we might not
be chargeable to
any of you:
2Th 3:10 For even when we
were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither
should he eat.
2Th 3:9 Not because we have
not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
2Th 3:10 For even when we
were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither
should he eat.
1Co 14:34 Let your women keep
silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are
commanded to
be under obedience, as also saith the law.
1Co 14:35 And if they will
learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for
women to speak in the
church.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is
the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the
saviour of the body.
Eph 5:24 Therefore as the
church is subject unto Christ, so let
the wives be to their own husbands in
every thing.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your
wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Eph 5:26 That he might
sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Eph 5:28 So ought men to love
their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Eph 5:29 For no man ever yet
hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the
church:
1Ti 5:8 But if any provide
not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the
faith, and is worse
than an infidel.
1Ti 4:6 If thou put the
brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus
Christ, nourished up
in the words of
faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
Eph 5:29 For no man ever yet
hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the
church:
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your
wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth
his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 13:8 Owe no man any
thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the
law.
Rom 13:9 For this, Thou shalt
not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not
bear false
witness, Thou
shalt not covet; and if there be any
other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely,
Thou shalt love
thy neighbour as thyself.
Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill
to his neighbour: therefore love is the
fulfilling of the law.
Gal 1:4 Who gave himself for
our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to
the will of God and
our Father:
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your
wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
2Ti 2:2 And the things that
thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful
men, who shall
be able to teach
others also.
