A Few Things About Us We are just a handful of people who are fortunate enough to be saved, sealed, and members of the body of Christ, totally and completely by His grace. We believe that God has reconciled us to Himself by the death of His Son on the cross for all of our sins. We believe that Christ died for our sins, and that He was raised again for our justification, and that all the work of and for our salvation was totally finished by the cross of Christ. We believe that we are complete in Christ, by His workmanship. We believe that we are created in Christ Jesus unto good works, and that God has ordained that we should walk in them. We believe that we are in God’s grace rather than under the Law. We believe that by the works of the Law that no flesh can be justified in God’s sight, therefore we believe that God’s Holy Spirit leads a true believer in Christ according to His grace and not according to His law. We are not an organization and we are also not a denomination. We can find no instructions in the Word of God for the building of organizations. We are also not a denomination. It seems strange to imagine asking a fellow believer, “What denomination of the ONE BODY are you?” We are students of the bible. We believe that the Holy Bible is the final and complete revelation from God for us today. We do not believe that anyone has an “inside track” with God, nor do we believe that God is giving special people special insight or revelation today. We believe that the bible is complete and is true. We take the stance of a devoted bible teacher who once said, “If it is new, it is not true.” We believe that the Holy Spirit leads us into understanding of the things of God through the written word of God. We do not believe in the keeping of “ordinances” or religious observances of any kind. We do not believe that there are any ordinances for the church today. We also do not observe any day or occasion as special above any other. In other words, we do not hold, in any way, to the traditions of men. Men have a number of religious traditions which they have established from information they obtained from the bible, but who fail to realize the distinctions and divisions in scripture that are so plainly set forth. We believe in understanding
the bible literally. In other words, if the plain sense of the passage
makes common sense, there is no sense in seeking any other sense. To
state it another way, we do not believe in “spiritualizing” bible
passages. We believe that the practice of “spiritualizing” passages is
one of the worst blunders of religion today. When we try to make It is our aim, through this
means, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. We want to make it
known that there are no requirements for salvation today other than
simple faith in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. The bible says
that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself,
not imputing their trespasses unto them. By this means, it is our
desire to make it known that salvation is a free gift. You cannot do
anything to gain it, and once you are saved, there is nothing that can
cause you to lose it. Christ died for our sins, and he was raised again
for our justification. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God
is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore, believe on,
not just in, the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt
be saved. Read: What We Believe
